Artist Statement
At its core, art is a visual journal. A space for documentation, discovery, and reflection.
My art is an exploration of faith and spirituality, the surreal and the psyche. Through figurative allegories and symbolic imagery I create stories that connect my inner experiences to the world around me.
Symbolism lies at the heart of my creative process. I am drawn to universal and personal symbols that carry layered meanings, each representing ideas of faith, identity, and emotions. These symbols become a personal language that grow and change as I do.
Artmaking for me is both spiritual and therapeutic. Making art feels like a quiet form of reflection where I can slow down and reconnect with something deeper. I rarely begin with a fixed plan; instead, I trust intuition to shape the work. Within this free flow of symbols, patterns, and colors, I find a balance between faith, feeling, and imagination.
