Artist Statement

At its core, my art is a visual journal—a space for documentation, discovery, and transformation. I’m drawn to themes like faith, spirituality, and the inner self, using figurative imagery to tell personal stories.

Symbolism is central to my practice—each image, color, and pattern an intuitive language for emotion and meaning. I combine visual metaphors from sacred imagery, dreamscapes, and archetypes to create allegories.

I rarely start work with a definitive plan, rather I trust the process to create a free flow of expression and symbolic forms.
It’s in that space of flow where creativity, change, and a sense of connection to something bigger all come together.

“In your light, I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.” - Rumi
